The Philippines’ largest national flag carrier, Cebu Pacific (PSE:CEB) joins the 18th Travel Tour Expo at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, and offers a 50% off system-wide seat sale from February 18-20, 2011 or until seats last.

CEB is making available over 1.2 million seats in the 50% off seat sale, which is for travel from June 1-December 31, 2011. This is the largest number of seats the airline has ever offered in a single seat sale.

One of the Philippines’ major travel fairs, the TravelTour Expo from February 18 to 20, 2011 is expected to attract more than 80,000 visitors from around the country. It is organized by the Philippine Travel Agencies Association’s (PTAA), with the Department of Tourism.

CEB’s 50% off seat sale is applicable to the airline’s 33 domestic destinations. This includes its flights to Boracay (Caticlan), Kalibo, Coron (Busuanga), Tagbilaran (Bohol), Puerto Princesa, Cebu, Laoag, Zamboanga, Legazpi, Bacolod, Iloilo and Ozamiz.

Promo seats up for grabs also include CEB’s 16 international destinations, namely Beijing, Brunei, Taipei, Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Lumpur, Shanghai, Taipei, Guangzhou, Osaka, Jakarta, Macau and Bangkok (from Manila and Clark), Incheon and Pusan (from Manila and Cebu), and Singapore and Hong Kong (from Manila, Cebu and Clark).

“Passengers can check out Cebu Pacific’s booth at the TravelTour Expo for the lowest possible fares. We have been awarded as the expo’s most popular booth in the past, and we want to continue offering great deals in our booth during this event,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

“This seat sale is also available through the www.cebupacificair.com or the reservation hotlines (02) 7020-888 or (032) 230-8888. We hope guests can take advantage of CEB’s trademark low fares and book early,” she added.

She also encouraged guests without credit cards to book online and pay through CEB partner banks and payment centers. “Travelers can also select seats in advance and avail of CEB’s web check-in service for their travel convenience,” Iyog said.

CEB currently operates the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines with 10 Airbus A319, 15 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR-72 500 aircraft. By the end of 2011, CEB will be operating a fleet of 37 aircraft – with an average age of less than 2.5 years – one of the most modern aircraft fleets in the world. Between 2012 and 2014, Cebu Pacific will take an additional 16 Airbus A320 aircraft.

CEB offers lowest fare alternative to Singapore in seat sale as low as P1,499

Also holds Luzon seat sale as low as P449

Cebu Pacific (CEB) lowers fares even further for its Singapore flights from Manila, Cebu and Clark in a seat sale from September 18-20, 2010 or until seats last.

The airline flies from Singapore to Manila 25 times weekly, to Cebu daily (starting October 31), and to Clark daily (starting October 29).

For travel this November 1, 2010-January 31, 2011, passengers can avail of P1,499 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila and Clark to Singapore, and P1,999 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Cebu to Singapore and Manila to Jakarta.

Meanwhile, CEB also offers a seat sale for its Luzon routes for travel this November 1-December 31, 2010.

For the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P449, guests can fly from Manila to Cauayan, Laoag, Legazpi, Naga, San Jose, Tuguegarao and Virac. The same fare is available for those going from Clark and Legazpi to Cebu.

Guests can also travel to Puerto Princesa from Manila and Cebu for the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare of P699. Passengers with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

“Because of CEB’s consistent low fares to Singapore, we were the number one airline in Southeast Asia to register the highest growth in passenger traffic to the Changi Airport in 2009. We hope to continue that accomplishment this year,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

After the seat sale, the lowest year-round ‘Go Lite’ fare from Manila to Singapore is P1,699. From Cebu, it is P2,999, and from Clark, it is P2,299.

“Likewise, CEB low fares to destinations in Luzon are comparable with bus fares. Our current P449 fares to Naga or Laoag, for example, give convenience to the traveler who no longer has to go on 10-hour bus trips to reach his or her destination,” she said.

CEB flies to 33 domestic and 16 international destinations, using its fleet of 10 A319, 11 A320 Airbus aircraft and 8 ATR 72-500 aircraft. It operates from four hubs strategically placed across the country: Manila, Cebu, Clark and Davao.

Offers Malaysia seat sale for as low as P499

Cebu Pacific (CEB), the leading low cost carrier with the most ASEAN destinations from the Philippines, will start flying a daily service to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia starting September 16, 2009.

In line with this, the airline is offering a seat sale to Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia for P499 and P1,999 respectively.

The ‘Go Lite’ promo fares are exclusive of the Philippine travel tax. Those with checked-in luggage only have to add P200 when booking.

Sale period is from July 29 to July 31, 2009, and is good for travel from September 1 to November 30, 2009.

“Malaysia has always enjoyed a great demand from our Filipino travel market, and we are glad to reduce our trademark low fares to make it even more accessible to every Juan. Kota Kinabalu and Kuala Lumpur are also home to our overseas Filipino workers. We hope they take advantage of our seat sale to spend more time at home,” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for marketing and distribution.

Tourism Malaysia-Manila Director Masrina Mohd Bakri said, “We are very pleased that more Filipinos will be able to experience the wonders of Malaysia, with Cebu Pacific now offering daily flights to Kuala Lumpur and its very low fares to Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu.”

“We invite Filipinos to immerse themselves in the exciting theme parks and amazing shopping bargains in KL, and the eco-adventures of the resort-city of Kota Kinabalu,” she added.

CEB, Asia’s third largest low-cost carrier, started flying to Kuala Lumpur in 2006 and Kota Kinabalu in 2008. The airline also flies to 12 other Asian cities and 32 domestic destinations from four hubs, utilizing the youngest aircraft fleet in the Philippines.
