CEB sparks summer travel rush with international seat sale as low as P999
Offers Osaka seats for P1,999

The Philippines’ leading flag carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) encourages passengers to beat the summer heat with an international seat sale as low as P999 from January 16-18, 2010 for travel this April 1-June 30, 2010.

Passengers can avail of P999 ‘Go Lite’ seats from Manila to Kota Kinabalu and Taipei, and from Clark to Bangkok, Hong Kong, Macau and Singapore.

For those going to Bangkok, Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, Kuala Lumpur, Macau or Singapore from Manila, the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale fare is only P1,499. The same goes for Cebu flights to Hong Kong or Singapore.

Meanwhile, for the ‘Go Lite’ seat sale of P1,999, passengers can travel from Manila to Incheon, Jakarta or Shanghai, and from Cebu to Busan or Incheon. Those with check-in luggage will just add P100 upon booking.

Osaka seats are also up for grabs at the ‘Go’ fare of P1,999.

“Our passengers have helped us gain an 18% increase in the number of CEB international guests, based on official January-November figures for 2008 and 2009. This is our way of thanking them, and providing them with more opportunities for travel in 2010,” said CEB VP for Marketing and Distribution Candice Iyog.

“We will continue offering more promos, like our continued 30 kilos free baggage allowance for Clark international flights, for the further convenience and benefit of our passengers,” she added.

Gokongwei-owned airline, CEB flies 147 international round trip flights per week from Manila, Cebu and Clark. It uses the youngest fleet of aircraft in the Philippines, comprised of 10 Airbus A319, 11 Airbus A320 and 8 ATR 72-500 aircraft.

“All for Juan Php1.00 ++ for all”

All-in roundtrip fares to Cebu, Kalibo, Tagbilaran @ Php1,968.00/person

To mark the completion of its $670 million refleeting program, Cebu Pacific (CEB) is celebrating with a P1 one-way fare offering for all its 20 domestic destinations as well as five regional destinations. Passengers have only from March 2 to 8, or until seats last, to buy their tickets. This is good for travel from June 1 to December 15, 2007. The P1 fare is exclusive of taxes and surcharges.

“This is CEB’s way of celebrating its brand new fleet of Airbus aircraft, which at barely 11 months old, is by considerable distance the youngest in the Philippines and is one of the youngest in the world.” said Candice Iyog, CEB VP for Marketing and Product.

Iyog added “This is our biggest sale ever, where we’ve allotted about 10% of our capacity at the P1 fare. We have made available more than 300,000 seats…and for the first time, we have included Hong Kong, Singapore, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta.”

CEB has always been a trailblazer in creative pricing strategies, as it manages to give the lowest fares on every route it serves.

“CEB introduced low fares in the local aviation scene in 1996, which allowed more Pinoys to fly. Today, we continue our staunch commitment to travel and tourism by again lowering fares to an extreme, this time for both domestic and regional routes,” Iyog said. “We are looking forward to having more first-time flyers on our flights and also hoping to see our regular flyers fly more often.”

Iyog added that the best way to avail of the P1 fare is to book and purchase through the airline’s website (www.cebupacificair.com), though this is also available through CEB reservations at (02) 70-20-888 or CEB ticket offices and accredited travel agents. The P1 fare is for immediate payment upon booking.

“We encourage everyone to act fast and book their flights now for the best availability of the P1 fares before the seats are sold out,” emphasized Iyog.

CEB takes delivery of its 14th aircraft tomorrow, marking the completion of the airline’s re-fleeting program. CEB operates the most domestic destinations, flights and routes, making the airline the Philippines’ leading domestic carrier and low fare leader.
